Description and Application

Steel Coil Handler, also known as a the Hydraulic Roll Handler Station. Handling steel bobbins calls for technology and robustness that guarantee safety and efficiency during operations. And this is exactly what SAUR did, developing the Hydraulic Bobbin Handler Station. The equipment is fully automated and controlled via CLP, guides by digital sensors and scales. An example is the automated bobbin centralizer, in accord with its diameter. 

Specifications

  • Comprised of a clamp with the following characteristics: - Capacity: 3000 Kg - Clamp opening: From 1030 to 1380 mm - Side shift: 100 mm to both sides (with center adjustment through linear potentiometers)
  • Note: Adjust the center of the bobbin with the center of the trestle (for the series of bobbins in the clamp opening range described above) where it will be automatically deposited
  • Comprised of a tower with the following characteristics: - Capacity: 7000 Kg - Elevation: 2350 mm Comprised of a table with the following characteristics: - Course: 4,500 mm - Drive: Via hydraulic motors - System: Electric-hydraulic controlled via CLP
