KAUP GmbH & Co. KG (KAUP) and its long-standing Brazilian partner SAUR Equipamentos S.A. (SAUR) have founded a joint company: KAUPSAUR SpA (KAUPSAUR). The aim of the joint venture, which was officially launched today in Santiago de Chile, is to distribute attachments for forklift trucks in the target market of Chile.

“We see great growth potential for our products in Chile,” says KAUP’s Head of Sales Ralf Schüßler on the establishment of the joint venture, “and we want to exploit this together with our partner SAUR.” To this end, KAUPSAUR draws on the broad product portfolio of the two founding companies. It also uses the direct market and industry knowledge of its team members.

“SAUR and KAUP as two strong partners can achieve even more with a joint product portfolio and are prepared for future challenges,” says Ingrid Saur, Presidente na SAUR, assessing the market opportunities of the new company.

“At last, things are officially getting underway,” says a delighted Oscar Schmitt, who has been instrumental in founding KAUPSAUR over the past few months. The attachment specialist with several years of experience in the industry is now responsible for sales at KAUPSAUR.

 

With own warehouse and on-site service

In order to be able to react quickly to customer requirements, KAUPSAUR has its own on-site warehouse with various new implements from the entire product range. In addition to the sale of new units, the focus of the newly founded company is on the optimal servicing of existing units. This is already ensured by an experienced in-house service technician. Not to be forgotten: Like KAUPSAUR’s customers, sales and service can rely on a dedicated administration.

The Pusher SAUR aims to carry out the handling of the load without the pallet, providing economy for the company and optimizing the loading process through mechanization. Our equipment consists of 06 forks, pusher and integrated side shifter, which facilitates the introduction of the forks into the spans of the pallets and the side adjustment of the load at the loading. Operation: as the forklift retreats, the pantograph opens in order for the front plate to retain the load while the forks are removed.

The Layer Picker Frontal SAUR conveniently selects loads and stacks pallets. The video shows the handling of layers of bottled water, demonstrating the safety and accuracy in the agile transport of the cargo. In addition to this application, the Layer Picker enables the assembly of a pallet with different product layers, with flexibility to comply with orders with smaller unit volume. It can handle only one or several layers of products in front of the forklift, as well as being fitted to the original forks of the machine.

The Manual Stacker with Electric Lift SAUR is a device that has been specially designed to assist in the ergonomics for handling palletized loads in general, making it possible to raise it to load and unload trucks, feed and remove goods from shelves, prevent the exertion and movements harmful to the physical health of the operator, also enabling the transport of loads as a pallet truck for small distances. It combines the practicality of the normal Manual Stacker with the efficiency and convenience of the employee. It is mainly used in assembly cells. Its power is made through an electrical cable connected to the outlet.

The Pulp Bale Clamp SAUR was designed to meet the requirements and special care needs that the pulp needs to be handled. The Clamps feature inner boss that, in addition to preventing damage, provide better grip to the load, enabling agile and safe handling. This equipment was specially developed for handling this type of bale. Its constructive form does not damage the pulp layer even after several handling processes. With the inclusion of the center arm, the equipment enables to maximize the operation, when transporting two bales at a time.

The Pallet Turnover Clamp SAUR is a device that transfers cargo from one pallet to another. In the manufacturing process, the load can be transferred to a metal or plastic pallet, avoiding contamination with wood. It can also be used in drums with paints, varnishes and chemical products, to rotate them, preventing the formation of surface crust. In this application, the cargo is rotated for container storage; the variation in the size of the loads makes it necessary to rotate them for better use of space, this SAUR device streamlines the process with total safety and speed. This Clamp boosts productivity, optimizes handling time and adds safety to the movement. This device is versatile and allows for the handling from 02 to 06 bales per operation. Watch the video for more details.

SAUR Rotating Bale and Carton Clamp are synonymous with operation speed and practicality, this equipment can be applied in handling bales of cotton, wool, synthetic fibers, pulp, paper shreds, hay and sugarcane bagasse, blocks of scrap, blocks of foam and/or cartons in general.

To prevent contamination of the internal process in the pharmaceutical industry with pallet wood, the Stationary Inverter with Plates and with Closing and Perimeter Monitoring was developed to transfer the load from a conventional wooden pallet to another metal or plastic pallet.

And the Stationary Inverter with Forks transfers the load from one pallet to another. With this function, it is possible to turn the load on a simpler one-way pallet when shipping. And, in the manufacturing process, the cargo can be transferred to a metal or plastic pallet, preventing contamination with wood.

The Stationary Inverter with Plates can also be used for barrels with paint, varnish and chemicals, in order to rotate them, preventing the formation of surface crust.

When shipping materials, it is possible to replace conventional wooden pallets with pallets made of cardboard or plastic sheets, through the Stationary Push Pull. This equipment was specially designed to facilitate the change of the load from a conventional pallet to a sleepsheet, in an ergonomic and fast way, enabling volume of cargo transported to increase.

Even when shipping or receiving cargo, the Dock Leveler adds to compensate for any unevenness between the vehicle and the floor, enabling the loading and unloading of products. Pallet Trucks are widely used for handling palletized loads.
