Ricardo Junges, from the SAUR Engineering sector, is participating in the Speedmodeling Tournament 2022, an international CAD modeling tournament. He is the first and only Brazilian competing, has already passed the first phase, and continues in the tournament.
The tournament's focus is to determine who can model the part most quickly and accurately, according to the 2D technical drawing presented. Competitors must then draw the part in 3D, using the software of their choice. The player who finishes the drawing first and correctly determines the exact weight of the part is the winner.
The challenge is being promoted on YouTube, on Toby's channel, an expert in SolidWorks and former employee of Dassault Systems, the company that created the software.
