The Competitiveness Forum of Passo

The meeting, held on June 26th at the Clube Comercial, brought together leaders from the public and private sectors, aiming to unite efforts to boost the development of Rio Grande do Sul.

At the invitation of the organizing committee formed by the Center for Public Leadership and Transforma RS, together with the Instituto Aliança Empresarial and the Committee of Business Entities of Passo Fundo, Angelin Adams, CEO of SAUR and also president of the Instituto Agregar, participated in the discussions of the Panel “Agenda for Competitiveness and Reconstruction of RS”, together with Erasmo Battistella, president of B8 and Ernani Polo, Secretary of Economic Development of the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, which was moderated by Márcia Capellari, from the Instituto Aliança Empresarial.

Two other panels, "Competitiveness, Social Development and Sanitation" and "Economic Development Strategy, Infrastructure and Logistics," were also part of the event.

The main topics discussed were improvements to the infrastructure of Rio Grande do Sul, focusing on highways and railways, industrialization processes, and workforce training in various sectors.

The debate and collaboration between the public and private sectors addresses the need to find solutions that generate opportunities for business growth and further boost the development of Rio Grande do Sul.

Representing SAUR at the event were our company president, Ingrid Saur, and our Human Resources manager, Catiusca Peixoto Spode.

The company appreciates the invitation extended to CEO Angelim, who was able to contribute to the discussion by suggesting initiatives that will stimulate the progress of our state.
