With the start of the school year, the needs of some students in the public school system of Panambi-RS intensify. Therefore, SAUR showed solidarity and donated diverse kits of school supplies to SAEBA – Associação Evangélica Bom Abrigo and to the Maurício Cardoso Municipal Elementary School.
Materials such as notebooks, pencils, colored pencils, glue, markers, rulers, modeling clay, and art activity paper will be distributed according to the grade level and needs of the students served by both institutions.
According to Eloir Pereira Prauchner, president of SAEBA, the donation will help to assist as many children as possible: “We receive requests for help daily. With this contribution from SAUR, we will be able to help many families.”
According to Arzelina Paula, the acting principal of the Maurício Cardoso School, many students are unable to start the school year with all the necessary materials: "This donation from SAUR allows us to meet the urgent needs of many students who arrive with only the basics."
For SAUR, investing in actions that promote learning is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
