From May 22nd to 25th, SAUR is continuing its Emergency Brigade training with the second group of employees. The first group trained was a night shift employee, from April 17th to 20th.
The training is being provided by Hangar Consultoria e Treinamento em Segurança do Trabalho, with theoretical and practical classes on rescue and salvage.
The Emergency Brigade aims to preserve the lives of employees and company assets. It also aims to reduce the social consequences of accidents and damage to the environment.
Among the main topics covered are fire prevention and fighting, the use of personal protective equipment and firefighting equipment, rescue and first aid, evacuation of people and other chemical emergency measures, and accidents or incidents.
In the coming months, other employees from various sectors will participate in the training, with the goal of strengthening the company's Emergency Response Team.
