Expointer: SAUR presents the Automated Cereal Sample Collector

One of the leading SAUR attractions at Expointer 2014 is the new model of the Automated Cereal Sample Collector. The equipment's arm is hydraulically controlled via levers, a joystick or fully automated; Pneumatic transfer of the samples to the sample collection silo; Rotation Angle: 180 or 300 degrees; For this new model there is no need for an operator to be fully dedicated to the equipment, as, in the roof, where the collector is installed, there is a camera that records the image in real time, sending it to a computer.

The operator remains in the control room and, by means of a computer, simply needs to defined the collection points; This information, selected on the computer, is sent to a programmable controller (PLC) that, by means of sensor programming and positioning, accurately defines the coordinates of the selected points for the collector along the path.

Among the main advantages: more modern design, lower operational noise, lower manufacturing Lead-time, remodeled tank (sample silo), semi-automatic (close the flow and product discharge with only one movement, with cleaning also possible), plug for checking the pneumatic system (optional vacuum switch) and optimized hydraulic hoses - less hoses.
